What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle?
For most car categories, the minimum age is 21 years old. For larger vehicles or specific models, the limit may be 25.
What's the speed limit for driving in Zakynthos?
The speed limit is 50km/h in built-up areas and up to 90km/h on provincial roads, unless otherwise signed.
Are helmets mandatory?
The helmets are mandatory for driving a scooter or an ATV/Quad. Safety is our priority.
Is drinking & driving allowed?
Drinking & Driving is strictly not allowed and is subject to heavy fines under Greek law.
Do I need to wear a seatbelt?
Seat belts must be worn at all times by the driver and all passengers while the car is in motion.
Can I drive the car off-road?
Driving on non-asphalt roads (off-roading) is strictly prohibited and usually voids your insurance coverage.
Is there a mileage limit?
Most of our rentals come with unlimited mileage so you can explore the whole island of Zakynthos without worry.
